The titles, which are also featured in the newly released Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2019, celebrate Okami’s 92.65% score from GameRankings.com and the $250,000 reward during 2017’s Capcom Cup featuring Street Fighter V respectively.

“It’s an honor to receive a Guinness World Record, not only once, but twice now. I hope this record helps bring awareness for Okami to even more people to give them the opportunity to check out and play the game.” – Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, Producer on Okami HD at Capcom

"Throughout their nearly 40-year history, Capcom has created timeless characters that have become household names, such as Mega Man, along with games including Resident Evil and Street Fighter that have defined genres," said Michael Furnari, official Guinness World Records adjudicator.

"We are happy to present Capcom with these new titles. On behalf of Guinness World Records, we congratulate the entire Capcom team for their amazing achievements and look forward to seeing many more from them."

Aside from features around prominent Capcom games, the Guinness World Records: Gamer’s Edition 2019, now in its 12th edition, is packed from cover to cover with thousands of fun facts, record challenges, and never-before-seen achievements from other popular games.
