In our most recent trip to BuzzFeed's New York office, a new record for the Longest duration to keep three balloons in the air was achieved.

Though we've visited their headquarters in past to witness employees try their hand at impromptu record attempts, this time courageous volunteers had proper warning and practice times since this record challenge proved to be particularly tricky.

Just three weeks prior, participants for this balloon-bouncing title unfortunately failed their attempts, thinking the task was fairly simple.

The attempt required employees Liem, Katelyn, and Jeremy to maintain three balloons in the air, for a minimum of five minutes and thirty five seconds.

Thwarted by their lack of success, Jeremy was the only remaining participant determined to set a new record.

So after a few weeks of preparation, even on vacation, he met with adjudicator Casey DeSantis at BuzzFeed’s New York City headquarters eager to beat the current title holder.

How did Jeremy perform? Check out the video below:

This is not the first time a staff member of BuzzFeed has earned a record title.

Just a few months prior to Jeremy’s triumph, Hal Rhorer achieved the record for the Longest duration to spin a fidget spinner on the nose.
