Each week at Guinness World Records, we'll be rounding up the recent highlights from our incredible live broadcasts on our official Facebook page.

Featuring fascinating live record-breaking action and interviews from around the world, our broadcasts also give our viewers the chance to ask our talented title holders a question or two.

If you missed any of the action from the past week - no worries, we’ve gathered up a selection of the best videos for you to watch below.

Monday started off in LEGO heaven, where our host PeeWee Wiggins spoke with multi-record holders Duncan Titmarsh and Ed Diment (UK) who make up the Bright Bricks building team.  Both are incredible designers who are able to construct realistic looking replicas of many objects using just LEGO blocks. In total, Duncan and Ed hold nine titles for their brilliant creativity using the classic children’s toy. Their records include: Largest LEGO ship, Largest LEGO Christmas tree, Largest LEGO wooly mammoth, and Longest LEGO sculpture built – which was a grand scale replica of the famous Tower Bridge in London. The structure was so fortified and well-built, it even supported a Land Rover driving over it! To see the geniuses behind the massively cool sculptures, watch the live interview which took place at their studio.

Tuesday featured a spectacular record just in time for the Super Bowl, when movie star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his team at Seven Bucks Digital created the Largest layered dip. With bubbly hula-hoop record holder Marawa the Amazing hosting the event, we did a walk through on what it takes to make such a colossal creation. Created in a glass fish tank, the team of chefs created The Rock’s favourite dip with layers of olives, cheese, green onions, tomato, sour cream, guacamole, and refried beans. Because all portions of the record were going to a local homeless shelter upon completion, this massive container had to be made in two hours - so no pressure on the team! For an unforgettable, out-of-the-box cooking lesson, highlighting a well-loved American snack, check out the video.

Wednesday saw a solid 24 hours of record breaking around the world with Reebok, who were attempting to have trained athletes conquer extraordinary titles while wearing their new shoe, the Nano7. Our first video popped up on feeds from London (UK), where Craig Peters did a live attempt for Most burpees in one minute. If you’re unfamiliar with this form of exercise, it’s an extremely enduring movement that involves squatting, thrusting into a push up position, and then hopping back up into an upright stance. Even for the most agile of people, it requires tremendous energy. The broadcast also showcased the impressive flexibility of strongman Eirik Lundstein (Norway) who attempted the Most kettlebell backflips in one minute. In order to successfully achieve the attempt, Erik would have to grip two kettlebell waits while throwing himself into a backflip five times! To see if these two fit gentlemen were able to take these two difficult titles, check out the footage.

Continuing in London, we highlighted the feats of Ashleigh Lawrence, who was attempting Most squats in three minutes- ouch! In order for her to earn the title, she needed to exceed the minimum requirement of 150; quite the challenge for even a major gym fanatic. Our host Dan also interviewed The Lean Machines, two cross fit enthusiasts who used their strength to beat the daunting burpee record.

We continued our broadcasts of fitness feats across the Atlantic in New York City; our third city of four on Reebok’s list for world record breaking. In the opening of the video, you can see adjudicator Michael Furnari presenting guidelines for Most weight lifted in one minute- barbell snatch (female) to record hopeful Annie Thorisdottir. While the barbell certainly looked heavy, Annie’s toned body seemed to fair the endurance of the record attempt well- smiling throughout most of the minute. As a two-time cross fit champion, viewers were eager to see if she would also add “record holder” to her list of accomplishments. The day also saw fitness champion Frederick Aegidus attempt the Most weight lifted in three minutes in overhead squat form. Listening to “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift, Aegidus got straight to work to try and beat the minimum of 4,000 pounds.

Logan Aldridge later decided to take the competition up a notch by attempting Most weight lifted by single armed barbell clings, which requires the lifting to be done with one arm instead of two, and beat a minimum of over 1,700 pounds. With encouraging support from witnesses and Facebook Live fans, Logan pushed himself to his maximum potential, anxiously awaiting the adjudicators’ results. Later on, David, another cross-fitter, attempted Most tandem push-ups in one minute against friendly rival and competitor Chris Hunt. A head-to-head battle you don’t want to miss, be sure to watch the final results below.

We ended Reebok’s various record attempts with a bang in Los Angeles (USA), where host Marawa the Amazing interviewed EDM DJ Dillon Francis. Sheepishly admitting he “no longer works out that much anymore” he still bravely stepped up to the challenge of trying to do Most mountain climbers in one minute. With a crowd of supportive viewers and a load of anticipation, find out how DJ Dillion did in the video below.
