"When I went for my treatment, the doctor told me that I have a limitation in the hormones and this is the reason why my height has stopped increasing," explains Jyoti. "The doctor told me that due to lack of hormones in the body, my height as well as weight will be invariable."

Although this condition makes certain aspects of life more challenging for Jyoti, who most likely will always depend on her family for care, she has an incredibly positive attitude.

"The best thing about my height is that I’ve become extremely famous worldwide. I get lots of attention everywhere I go," she says, smiling.

Over the years, Jyoti has met lots of other Guinness World Records title holders, such as the late Chandra Dangi (Shortest man ever), which she says made her very happy.

"I felt more inclusive and more satisfied that there is somebody like me too."
