Welcome to the Guinness World Records Italian Show – a weekly video series which features the most astonishing, shocking and awe-inspiring record attempts from the seventh series of Italy’s Lo Show Dei Record.
This week’s episode sees the return of Hafthór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson (Iceland) – who is best known for playing Gregor “The Mountain” in the HBO series Game of Thrones – and 2014 World’s Strongest Man Zydrunas Savickas (Lithuania) as they compete in their fifth battle on the television series.
In arguably their toughest challenge yet, the pair of strongmen go head-to-head for the title Farthest washing machine throw – individual.
The record is measured from the throwing line to the nearest point where the 46 kg washing machine first makes contact with the ground.
Zydrunas takes home the title with an astonishing 4.13 metres (13 ft 6.60 in) hurl.
