Each week here on guinnessworldrecords.com, we’ll be dipping into our extensive video library to bring you a classic piece of record-breaking action.
This week we return to 2008 and the set of Zheng Da Zong Yi - Guinness World Records Special in Beijing, China, where Yu Zhenzhen (China) secured a record for the Most neckties tied with a four-in-hand knot in one minute.
He achieved an impressive 13.
Also known as a simple knot or schoolboy knot, the four-in-hand is believed to be the most popular method of tying ties due to its simplicity.
Previously, the record for the most neckties tied with a four-in-hand knot was 9, achieved by Sarah Redding (Germany) on the set of Guinness World Records - Die Grössten Weltrekorde in Cologne, Germany a few months earlier.
