Abhishek Ganguly, MD, Senior PUMA India, commented:

With our global DO YOU campaign, we have encouraged each and every woman to embrace and celebrate her individuality and to find her core strength.  Hence, as the culmination of this movement, we envisioned bringing together passionate and strong women across different walks of life in one of the biggest demonstrations of core strength - to break the Guinness World Record of ‘The Most People to Hold the Abdominal Plank Position’ for 60 seconds.

Guinness World Records has been instrumental in providing these women with the perfect platform to create a community and break a world record. The enormity and scale that Guinness has provided this movement with, rivals none other. We hope that the feat we have achieved inspires women to always believe in themselves, to work on their core strength and live the philosophy of the DO YOU campaign everyday. We are extremely thrilled to see the campaign succeed and snowball into a massive movement.
