The timing for this record began when Maria started her first ultra marathon in Antarctica and ended when she crossed the line of her last in South Africa.
LARGEST CORK MOSAIC

Holders: Magazine Saveurs du Voyage, published by SemFor (France)
Location: Bordeaux, France
That's not all: The mosaic was inspired by the first issue of the magazine from SemFor, dedicated to the Aquitaine region. The mosaic measured 17.1 m (56 ft 1 in) by 9 m (29 ft 6 in) long and used 285,000 corks!
LARGEST TINIKLING DANCE

Record: 344 dancers
Holder: Team Ross 500 Hands (USA) and De La Salle Health Sciences Institute Physical Therapy Alumni Association (Philippines)
Location: AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, USA
That's not all: The famous Philippine dance was performed in traditional dress and bamboo poles. Team Ross 500 Hands is an organisation supporting Ross Sajo, a young mother who has pancreatic cancer. The organization attempted the record together with the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute Physical Therapy Alumni Association to raise money for Typhoon Haiyan victims, as well as for the De Salle outreach programme for children with disabilities.
LONGEST LINE OF PHOTO CUT-OUT BOARDS

Holder: Tokachi - Sekaiichi Project (Japan)
Location: Midorigaoka Park, in Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan
That's not all: The Project aimed at bringing people of the Tokachi area together. Supporters of the Tokachi - Sekaiichi Project included elementary school children, who helped with colouring of the boards, as well as local citizens, farmers, students and businesses, who contributed at various stages of the attempt. On the day of the attempt, 289 people gathered to participate by inserting their faces into the cut-out spaces in the boards.
FASTEST 100M JUMPING ROPE ON ONE LEG

Record: 23.78 seconds
Holder: Peter Nestler (USA)
Location: Medina, Ohio, USA
That's not all: Peter made his attempt at Highland High School and is a bit of a Guinness World Records machine. He's also set marks for the fastest mile hopping, the fastest mile jumping rope on one leg, the most bum skips in 30 seconds, the most rope skips while keeping a football in the air with the feet in one minute and the most one-footed skips in 30 seconds, among others. LARGEST BEAN MOSAIC

Record: 300.85 m² (3238 ft² 44 in²)
Holder: World Largest Seed Art Production Committee (Japan)
Location: Minamisouma, Fukushima, Japan
That's not all: The mosaic consisted of black and white soy beans, with the challengers using 1,864,320 black beans and 2,096,640 white. The beans used - depicting a samurai warrior - were then distributed to the participants/viewers of the event, as well as being processed into miso by the students of Fukushima Prefectural Soma Agricultural High School.
