Famed Chinese stereography artist Yang Yongchu and his team have set a pair of new world records with an amazing piece of 3D street art.

Named Rhythms of Youth, the painting was unveiled earlier this month at the Communication University of China, in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China.


Created as a gift to commemorate the upcoming 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games, the artwork, which measures 2,622.882 m² (28,232 ft² 50.4 in²), has set two new world records for Largest anamorphic painting and Longest anamorphic painting.

The piece features the mascot of the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, as well as the nearby snow mountain, and the Yangtze River.


Yang Yongchun, said: 'It took my team more than 20 days to finish the painting on the ground.

'Every day, we worked on it from daybreak when we could barely tell the colours apart until it turned too dark to see anything.'


The giant street painting is schedule to stay open to the public for next two months on the campus.
