The Guinness World Records 2014 – Augmented Reality app lets you see the records leap off the pages of your book in full 3D on your mobile and tablet device – and now it’s even better than ever!

The latest update of the free app, which is available now for iOS and Android devices, allows you to meet and have your picture taken with the world's shortest man, Chandra Bahadur Dangi from Nepal, and the world’s tallest man, Sultan Kösen from Turkey.

Both 3D models of these incredible record breakers which are animated and to-scale, are available to download as in-app purchases from within the app for only £0.69/$0.99 each.

Here’s Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday seeing how he measures up to 8 ft 3 in Sultan…

These new 3D models expand upon the app’s existing amazing features which let you:

• Take control of the largest ever carnivorous dinosaur and walk it around the pages of your book.

• Experience the view from the top of Mount Everest in virtual reality – you won't need to leave the comfort of your armchair!

• Meet the world's shortest woman and have your photo taken with her ACTUAL SIZE!

• Enter the photo booth and see what you and your friends would look like if you had the world's longest tongue or longest beard!

• Watch videos clips of the most exciting records

How it works:
To activate the 3D animations, look out for the SEE IT 3D logo in the pages of the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS 2014 book – you can activate the new animations of Sultan and Mr Dangi on pages 48 and 49. When you see the logo, launch the app, point your device's camera at the book page and watch as the records comes to life.
