Seasoned record breaker Sir Richard Branson is back amongst the history makers after securing three new titles in the new Guinness World Records 2014 book.

The British entrepreneur has new entries for The oldest person to cross the English Channel by kiteboard ,Richest presenter of reality television and also for Most followers on LinkedIn in the latest edition of the annual.

The 61-year-old achieved the kiteboarding record after crossing from Dymchurch, Kent, to Wimereux in northern France in three hours and 45 minutes in July.

On 30 November 2012 the business networking site LinkedIn announced that Branson had become its first member to reach one million followers. By 10 March 2013 at 17:16 GMT, his followers had grown to 1,521,636 people.

Branson, who was star of the 2004 reality TV show "The Rebel Billionaire: Branson’s Quest for the Best" (FOX, USA), is also the Richest presenter of reality television, with an estimated worth of £3 billion ($4.6 billion).

He leads Donald Trump, star of US version of "The Apprentice," who has an estimated worth of $2.9 billion (£1.4 billion), and Oprah Winfrey (USA), worth 'just' $1.5 billion (£763 million).

The new titles are the latest in a long line of record-breaking achievements set by the multi-millionaire.

In 1987, he set the record for the first hot air balloon to cross the Atlantic, while in 1991 he was aboard the first balloon to cross the Pacific from Japan to Arctic Canada.

From 1995 to 1998, Sir Richard, Per Lindstrand and Steve Fossett made attempts to circumnavigate the globe by balloon.
