It's fallen again!
Fans of the Seattle Seahawks helped the American Football team reclaim the hotly contested world record for loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium on Monday night as noise at the CenturyLink Field reached an ear-splitting 137.6 decibels during their game against the New Orleans Saints.
The record was achieved with 12 minutes and 29 seconds left to play in the second quarter during a 3rd down Seahawks defensive stand.

— Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks) December 3, 2013Such was the noise generated by the crowd, aka "Volume 12 - The Seahawks 12th Man", it registered as a minor earthquake, according to a local research group.
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network detected vibrations in the region that measured between a magnitude 1 and 2 earthquake during the game.
The Seahawks went on to win the match 34-7.
The last two months have now seen the record title change hands three times, with the Seahawks initially taking the record in September from Turkish soccer team Galatasaray with a 136.6 dbA reading.
This was bettered by Kansas City Chiefs fans at Arrowhead Stadium in October with a slightly higher crowd noise of 137.5 dbA, before the Seahawks took back the crown last night.
