He’s done it again! Japan’s Kenichi Ito has once again shown he’s the quickest human on hands and feet by beating his own record for fastest 100m running on all fours.

Kenichi beat a field of athletes on all fours for a special race to mark Guinness World Records Day at the Olympic Park Athletic Field, in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan.

Reaching the finish line in a record breaking time of 16.87 seconds, Kenichi’s incredible display beat his previous benchmark time of 17.47 seconds set last year on GWR Day.

Ito's running technique has taken nine years to develop and is based on the movement of the African Patas monkey.
