The Brief

Mahila Manovikas is a crochet NGO, aiming to empower women and promote India’s culture through the craft. In addition to breaking a record, they wanted a post-event solution to thank and honour the collective effort as well as provide a memorable keepsake for all those who contributed towards their record.

The Solution

Mahila Manovikas successfully achieved the world record for the largest display of crochet squares, making this their third world record. To celebrate, they decided to gift their team a GWR medallion as well as a personalised printed Certificate of Participation.

The certificate was the perfect memento to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. The certificates not only celebrated personal achievement but provided credibility within the community, inspiring others to pursue their own passions and potentially obtain their own certificate by joining in on future record-breaking crochet campaigns.
Working with GWR has always been an incredible experience and this record was no different. The certificates added an extra special touch for our group members, giving them a sense of pride and empowerment. I’m grateful for the recognition and look forward to continuing to push boundaries.
