Visitors jump for joy on the world’s largest bouncy castle

Tourist attraction Jumbo Jump in Karachi, Pakistan has claimed the record for the largest inflatable (bouncy) castle.

The inflatable structure named Jumbo Castle measures 1,421 m² (15,295.51 ft²) and has a maximum capacity of 200 people. It was unveiled last November.

This beat the previous record held by Dubai’s JumpX achieved in January of the same year.

Bouncy castles are a familiar sight at fairgrounds, popular for their bounceable interior.

Jumbo Jump considers itself to be the one-stop destination for excitement and wonder with the playground being accompanied by an assault course, photo booth and another toon-themed bouncy house.

Founder Safeer Khan attempted the record to create more diverse entertainment options for Pakistan and for it to be a source of joy and excitement for the community.

The castle contains a slide, climbing walls, various decorations and of course ample space to jump around!

It took six months to create the bouncy castle, including planning, design work and the careful selection of materials to ensure both safety measures and that the record-breaking dimensions were met.

The main frame is made of PVC Tarpaulin materials and decorated with bright fun primary colours, reminiscent of a circus.

Remarkably, it only took a short 10 minutes to completely inflate the castle.

To ensure accurate dimensions of the castle, measurements were taken with fibreglass survey tape and a laser distance meter.

Jumbo Jump hopes that the record-breaking attraction will encourage more tourists to visit Pakistan.

We believe in creating moments that go beyond the ordinary, and breaking the world record for the largest jumping castle at Jumbo Jump is a testament to our commitment to delivering unparalleled joy and entertainment in Pakistan. Our success is not just measured in numbers but in the smiles, laughter, and shared experiences of the communities we serve. Jumbo Jump is not just an event; it's a celebration of the extraordinary, and we look forward to continuing our journey of breaking records and creating memories that last a lifetime. - Safeer Khan, Founder of Jumbo Jump
