Jack In The Box raises awareness of “Buttery Jack” burger with world's largest coupon record

Fast food restaurant chain Jack in The Box recently launched its brand new “Buttery Jack” burgers in a big way by setting the Guinness World Records title for largest coupon. 
 
The restaurant chain created an eight-story-high voucher measuring an incredible 185.81 m² (2,000 ft²), highlighting a Buy One Get One Free (BOGOF) offer on “Buttery Jack”, a quarter-pound burger with garlic herb butter melted on top.
Being of a massive size, however, would not be enough for a Guinness World Records title, and the scale replica voucher would need to be redeemed for the attempt to be valid.
 
With this mind, members of the Los Angeles community gathered in the streets of Hollywood to watch as twelve participants in the record attempt helped the brand’s mascot Jack Box bring the extraordinary coupon to a local Jack in the Box restaurant. 
Unsurprisingly, the coupon would not pass through the doors of the restaurant so only one option remained - the coupon would need to be presented at the restaurant’s drive-thru hatch to reach a cashier and complete the record-breaking achievement.
 
As the gathered crowd cheered in a celebratory block party with free Buttery Jack burgers and DJ-fuelled dancing, the record-setting coupon was displayed on the side of a building. cashier and certify the record-breaking achievement.Following the record achievement, Jack in the Box made the super-sized coupon redeemable at any restaurant across the United States by showing the cashiers a photo of the record-breaking coupon on a mobile device. 
 
Fans were also encouraged to share pictures of the voucher on all social using the hashtag #WorldsLargestCoupon.
Guinness World Records helped augment awareness of the boosting its promotional reach and. 
 
As well as turning a live event into a mobile offer across social media channels , the record attempt also raised awareness of the Buttery Jack burger with press coverage across topline consumer and specialist media outlets such as Time Magazine and Ad Week.
