Jeison Orlando Rodríguez Hernández from Maracay, Venezuela has been presented with a new Guinness World Records certificate today, thanks to his US size 26 feet.

The 22-year-old has boasted the Largest feet on a living person – male since 2014, when his right foot measured 40.1 cm (1.31 ft) and his left foot reached 39.6 cm (1.30 ft). Jeison contacted Guinness World Records via our Facebook page and an official adjudication and photoshoot was arranged for that year’s book.

Four years later, Jeison’s feet have grown to a staggering 40.55 cm (1.33 ft) and 40.47 cm (1.32 ft) respectively.

The ceremony took place at the shoe store Wessels in Vreden, Germany, where Jeison was picking up some new shoes which were custom made by owner Georg Wessel. Jeison has to get his footwear specially made because his feet are far too large for regular shoes.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Lucia Sinigagliesi said: "We’re very happy to meet Jeison here in Germany and honour him with a Guinness World Records title. He achieved the record in 2015 and him beating his own record and coming to Germany was the perfect opportunity for us to join him and hand over his certificate in person."

Jeison, who is 7 ft 2.6 in (220 cm) tall and a keen basketball player, was very happy to receive his new shoes and Guinness World Records certificate:

"Finding shoes in my size was never easy. I already struggled to find my size when I was 16 years old. Guinness World Records made me appreciate myself more, especially the value of the size of my feet. Today I’m proud to have the biggest feet on earth."

It was around his ninth birthday that Jeison realised his feet were larger than his friends. They would often compare sizes, with Jeison coming out on top each time.

However, he was often teased for the size of his feet as well.

He struggled to find shoes his size in his home city of Maracay so he was forced to wear sandals made of old tires and fabric, before expert shoemaker Georg Wessels offered his help.

Georg has also made shoes for Sultan Kösen, the our Tallest living man record holder, whose feet are slightly smaller than Jeison’s.

The world’s Largest feet ever, however, belonged to the Tallest man ever, Robert Wadlow (USA, 1918–40), who wore US size 37AA (UK size 36) shoes, which equates to 47 cm (1 ft 6.5 in).
