Each week here on guinnessworldrecords.com, we’ll be dipping into our extensive video library to bring you a classic piece of record-breaking action.
A stoppie is a bicycle trick in which the rider lifts the back wheel and keeps the bike moving on the front wheel by carefully applying the brakes – a trick that is challenging enough without the added difficulty of holding the feet on the handlebars.
Abdul Rahaman achieved an amazing record of 17.50 m (57 ft 4.97 in) in Lalitpur, Bhopal, India, on 3 March 2011.

The distance was measured by official Guinness World Records adjudicator Liz Smith, who marked the point at which the back wheel left the ground and then measured the distance between this point and the point at which the back wheel then touched back down onto the ground.
In another impressive bicycle trick Guinness World Records attempt, Jim DeChamp from the USA completed the
Longest bicycle stoppie (feet on the pedals), securing a record of 15.76 m (51 ft 9 in) at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah on 18 November 2008 for the MTV show 'Nitro Circus'.
