Popular Italian soul singer Alessandra Amoroso recently achieved a Guinness World Records title on the set of Sky Uno television show E poi c'è Cattelan in Milan, Italy.

She broke the record for the Most duets sung in two minutes, performing with 19 excited fans.

In order for each duet to be valid, Alessandra had to alternate with the other singer, with each person always singing one line of the song's lyrics. Apart from Alessandra, no one else could sing more than one line.

The show, which is hosted by Alessandro Cattelan, welcomed Official Guinness World Records adjudicator Marco Frigatti, who was on hand to verify the attempt.

Speaking after confirmation of the record, Marco said: "It was fantastic to see so many fans meeting their favourite singer for the first time by duetting with her, amazing!"

Previously this record was held by Duncan James (UK) from British boyband Blue, who performed 17 duets with Rock School Students on the set of Guinness World Records - Smashed, in London, UK, on 3 October 2008.
