Until now, the American heart-throb's most recent nomination was for
The Wolf of Wall Street in 2013 – a movie that earned a shocking record for the
Most Swearing in one film. The f-word is said 506 times, which makes an average of 2.81 times per minute.
The record was broken by Swearnet eight months later, a movie which features the stars of the Canadian television series Trailer Park Boys that includes 868 mentions of the f-word (pictured below).
DiCaprio has not yet won an Oscar, even though he has been nominated five times. The record holder for the Most Oscar nominations without winning is the US citizen Kevin O’Connell who has received an impressive 20 Oscar nominations for sound since 1983, but has never walked home with the trophy.
