BBC Radio 2 is to celebrate Guinness World Records’ recent 60th anniversary this Friday, with a special live edition of its popular Friday Night Is Music Night show honouring some of the most incredible records that have been set in music.
Presenter Ken Bruce and virtuoso Swedish pianist Robert Wells will also be attempting to set an all-new Guinness World Records title live on air for Most ABBA songs played and recognised in one minute.
Robert will tap out the intro to one of ABBA’s 30 best-selling songs (the set list randomised beforehand), while Ken will endeavour to correctly identify at least ten tunes to achieve the new record.
The special episode of the long-running live orchestral music programme will also feature an exclusive interview with Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief, Craig Glenday.
