Each week here on guinnessworldrecords.com, we’ll be dipping into our extensive video library to bring you a classic piece of record-breaking action.

Backwards Day on 31 January provides the perfect opportunity to have a go at performing everyday actions the wrong way round – such as talking backwards or walking backwards.

However, Moses Lanham (USA) has a unique and contrary talent: On the set of TV show “Lo Show Dei Record”, in Milan, Italy, in 2011, the American set an all-new record for the Fastest time to walk 20 m with feet facing backwards, in an impressive 19.59 seconds.

Following the Guinness World Records guidelines, Moses' toes remained at an angle of 120 degrees for the duration of the attempt.
