Spotlight: The largest stick bomb - Part 2

Every Wednesday we’ll be shining a light on the coolest, wackiest, or most unique records from around the globe recently approved by our Records Management Team with our Spotlight series.
 
 
This week we revisit the record for the largest stick bomb. This spectacular domino-like display of interconnected sticks set off in a chain reaction has proved a popular feat for dedicated, patient and creative stick bomb builders.
 
 
Records are made to be broken and in this case, hot on the heels of Tim Fort and the Lake County Libraries 2014 Teen Summer Reading Program's achievement with 17,822 sticks came a new challenger.
 
 
Tulln Domino Team from Austria made a hybrid creation of dominoes which triggered a stick bomb consisting of an incredible 30,849 sticks. See the results in the video below.
