The shortest living man is Chandra Bahadur Dangi (Nepal) who measures 54.6 cm (21.5 in) tall as verified at CIWEC Clinic Travel Medicine Center in Lainchaur, Kathmandu, Nepal on 26 February 2012.

At the time of the verification, Chandra weighed 14.5 kg (31 lb 15.52 oz) and claimed to be 72 years old. The measurements were taken by Drs Rashila Pradhan and Prativa Pandey. Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief, Craig Glenday, adjudicated.
