The most hair dyed in 8 hours is 192 heads of hair and was achieved by Universal Group and NUC University (both Puerto Rico) in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, on 10 March 2023.


The event has been organized as part of efforts to support Puerto Rico's baseball team in the World Baseball Classic. The Puerto Rican team is known as "Team Rubio", and their first game is scheduled for the next day to the record attempt.

The procedures were performed by 20 certified stylists who performed the procedures in two 4-hour shifts, without exceeding the maximum of 10 per shift.
