The most golf holes played in one week (cart) is 2,001 and was achieved by Mick McLoughlin (Australia) at Wynnum Golf Course, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, from 21 to 27 November 2021.

Mick attempted this record to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

In late 2020 he was on a golf trip in New South Wales and came across memorabilia from Troy Grant's (Australia) previous record of 1,800 holes in one week, set in 2004. He was inspired to attempt the record and use it to help raise funds for the charity. He even reached out to the previous holder Geno Bonnalie (USA) - who had held the record since 2011 - and received fantastic support from him.

Mick trained one year for this attempt (hitting over 1,000 balls per day) and in the end was able to both achieve the record and raise a reported $340,000 (AUS) for the Ronald McDonald House Charity!
