The most consecutive victories in La Liga, the top division of Spanish football (soccer), was 16. This was first achieved by FC Barcelona between 16 October 2010 and 5 February 2011. This feat was equalled by Real Madrid from 2 March to 18 September 2016.

The Blaugrana outscored opponents by a combined 60–6 margin during the streak and had the victorious run bookended by a pair of 1–1 draws. They were coached at the time by Josep "Pep" Guardiola.

The Blancos scored 51 goals and conceded 12 during their run and were managed by Zinedine Zidane. It was Villarreal who ended their run with a 1–1 draw.
