The longest supported underwater live radio broadcast lasted 5 hours and 6 minutes and was achieved by Simon Clarke (UK) for Wave 105.2 FM in aid of Cash 4 Kids, and with support from Andark Diving. The attempt took place at the Andark Diving Centre in Southampton, UK on 15 November 2011.

They used a diving bell to assist their attempt and Simon was supported by a presenter on the poolside.

 

The attempt was in aid of 'Cash for Kids' charity.
