The longest marathon playing ice hockey is 261 hr 15 sec, and was achieved by Hockey Marathon for the Kids (Canada) in Chestermere, Alberta, Canada from 31 March – 11 April 2022.


This is the third time the participants have set the Guinness World Records title for longest marathon playing ice hockey, first achieving the record in May 2012. The attempt raised $850,000 CAD for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation.
