Largest walking bus (multiple locations)

The largest simultaneous walking bus in multiple locations involved a total of 119,697 participants from 403 schools across the UK. The event was organised by Brake - the road safety charity- on 17 June 2009. This was the second time Brake has organised and set the record with the help of schools all over the UK. Brake, a road safety charity, will organise and attempt to better this record again in 2010, with the main focus on promoting drivers' awareness of speed around schools and children.
