The largest sword measures 14.93 m (48 ft 11.79 in) and was achieved by Fujairah Crown Prince Award (UAE) at the Al Saif roundabout and Fujairah Fort, in Fujairah, UAE, on 16 December 2011.
The sword itself is located in the middle of the Al Saif roundabout and was measured there using a Disto D8 and a crane was used to inspect the quality of the sword from top to bottom. The presentation of the award was given at Fujairah fort where the annual ceremony for the Crown Prince Award-Al Saif took place.
Independent surveyors were on hand from the UAE army who had provided the specialised crane equipment to verify the measurements.
