The largest golf tee measured 9.37 m (30 ft 9 in) long with a head diameter of 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) and a shaft width of 64 cm (2 ft 1 in). It was made by Jim Bolin (USA) and was presented and measured in Casey, Illinois, USA, on 29 January 2013.

The golf tee was made out of yellow pine boards that were glued together to form a large block, out of which the tee was shaped using chainsaws.
