The largest cardboard floating raft is 77.46 m² (833.77 ft²) and was achieved by Olavsfestivalen (Norway), as measured and launched in Sarpsborg, Norway, on 19 July 2015.
The event was part of Olavsfestivalen, a festival which aims to give a vibrant presentation of the history of the Vikings in Norway, so the raft was in the shape of a Viking longboat.
