The largest Easter egg tree consists of 82,404 painted hen eggs and was achieved by Associação Visite Pomerode (Brazil), at the 9º Osterfest, in Pomerode, Santa Catarina, Brazil, on 16 March 2017.
Pomerode is a city in Brazil known for its German roots and every year they have a festival called Osterfest during Easter time.
The Associação Visite Pomerode started collecting egg shells in April 2016 and painted all them with orange, yellow and green colours.
The 82,404 hen eggs were hung in a pecan tree.
