Largest collection of tortoise and turtle related items

The largest collection of tortoise and turtle related items is 5,373, and was achieved by Tania Murphy (Australia) in Kawungan, Australia, on 24 May 2026.

Tania's collection began in 1975, when she was just four or five years old, with a small green stuffed turtle that originally belonged to her younger sister. More than 50 years later, she still treasures that very first turtle. Her lifelong passion has taken her around the world, with pieces collected from over 30 countries. Tania has even turned her garage into a dedicated turtle and tortoise museum and is affectionately known as the 'Crazy Turtle Lady'. She is also involved in turtle rescue and conservation efforts, reflecting her deep love for these animals.
