The largest bean mosaic measures 430.18 m² (4,630.41 ft²), and was created by Tokachi - Sekaiichi Project (Japan) at Nakasatsunai village, in Tokachi, Hokkaido, Japan, on 8 March 2015.
The mosaic had been created from 6 to 8 March 2015 by 27 perticipants. Each side of the mosaic measured left side: 24.413 m, top side: 17.644 m, right side: 24.356 m, and bottom side: 17,639 m. 3 different kinds of beans were used. Total number of beans used was 12,405,900 beans which weighed 3.75 t.
