The heaviest motorcycle is the Panzerbike, built by Tilo and Wilfried Niebel of Zilly, Germany, which weighed 4.749 tonnes (10,470 lb) on 23 November 2007.
At 5.28 m (17 ft 4 in) long and 2.29 m (7 ft 6 in) tall, and powered by a Russian tank engine, the bike took a team of mechanics and welders almost a year to construct.
