The deepest freediving constant weight without fins by a female diver is 70 m (229 ft 7 in) and was achieved by Natalia Molchanova (Russia, 8 May 1962–2 August 2015) in Dahab, Egypt, on 15 May 2014.

Molchanova is the most decorated female freediver ever, having set over 40 world records and won more than 20 gold medals in her career.

In August 2015, she went missing during a recreational dive in Spain and is presumed dead.
