- Mike McIntyre
- 164 kilometre(s) per hour
- Canada (Les Eboulements)
The fastest speed on a gravity-powered street luge is 164.00 km/h (101.90 mph) by Mike McIntyre (USA) at the L'Ultime Descent world record speed event in Les Eboulements, Quebec, Canada, on 10 September 2016.
McIntyre became the first person to surpass 100 mph in a gravity-powered street luge and did so on three occasions. He reached 164.12 km/h at one point, but couldn't keep full control of his street luge so that run was not recognized by the WGSA (World Gravity Speed Association).
