The most people in a one hour joke relay is 228 and was achieved by supporters of Comic Relief and Red Nose Day's 'Cheesy jokes' campaign in association with Babybel (UK), at Moat Park leisure centre in Maidstone, Kent, UK, on 5 March 2011.

Babybel had been running a campaign in association with Comic Reliefs Red Nose day to raise money during their 'cheesy jokes' campaign. Childrens presenters Dick and Dom called each child or participant forward onto stage to tell their joke during the 1 hour relay. Most of the participants were children who had turned up to enjoy a day with Dick and Dom. The relay lasted 44 minutes and 6 seconds in which 228 out of 242 people were successful in telling a joke.
