The longest line of tacos consisted of 847 tacos and was assembled by Michigan State University's Culinary Services (USA) at the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, on 30 September 2011.
The taco line was a continuous line in the shape of an 'S' to represent Michigan State University's iconic logo. The tacos included ground beef, pico de gallo and cheddar cheese. Although there were 847 tacos, the line measured 490 ft. There was a total of 35 participants who consisted of both full time nd student workers from the Culinary Services at the University. There were a total of four witnesses and a letter of verification of the measuring and counting from the Facilities Manager at Michigan State University.
