The largest collection of PlayStation items consists of 7,633 items, and was achieved by Antonio Romero Monteiro (USA) in Richmond, Texas, USA, on 19 December 2021.

Antonio started collecting PlayStation items when he was a child and now wants to share this record accomplishment with the world!

Throughout the years PlayStation has influenced his entire family, and they have bonded and shared many emotions as a family through those experiences. Many of Nintendo’s characters and games carry lasting memories of fun, laughs, and rivalry within each of family member. These experiences inspired Antonio to seek this record.

The PlayStation collection has grown organically with Antonio's family through the different generations of Nintendo systems, as well as the growing passion for their characters and games.

The record attempt required a lot of planning and preparation, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The main challenge was to group, and re-alphabetize all the PlayStation items he had around the house. Through this effort, Antonio got to reflect on how Nintendo has influenced his and his family's lives.

The collection room and Antonio's house were turned upside down as part of the record count. It took him over a week to re-organize everything and put all the PlayStation items back in place around the house.

Antonio has already achieved other record titles, such as the largest collection of videogames, largest collection of Nintendo items, largest collection of Xbox items and largest collection of Sega items.

By breaking this Guinness World Records title, Antonio hopes to inspire others to reminisce on how PlayStation has affected their lives with such great memories!
