The largest solar powered building is the 260,000 m2 Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, USA. 17 MW come from the solar panels on the roof, with an additional 4 MW coming from biogas fuel cells. Designed by architects Foster and Partners, the gigantic ring-shaped building was opened in 2017.
