The largest pendulum-regulated clock measures 31.23 metres, achieved by Gdańsk Science Museum, a department of the Museum of Gdańsk (Poland), as verified in Gdańsk, Poland, on 18 August 2023.
The pendulum-regulated clock was constructed by Grzegorz Szychliński in 2016, and is located in the tower of St. Catherine Church. The record attempt was also the occasion to give a name to the clock, and a contest was launched. The winners, two citizens of Gdańsk, Beata Matczak & Andrzej Szemberski decided to name it "St. Catherine’s braid".
