The largest gathering of people wearing fleece blankets is 42,690 and was achieved by the fans of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (USA) at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, USA, on 6 April 2010

Dubbed by event organisers as the 'Matsui Snuggie,' after professional baseball player Hideki Matsui (Japan), Konica Minolta was featured on the fleece blankets used during the record attempt. The Minnesota Twins defeated the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Both USA) during the evening game by a score of 5-3.
