The most premature triplets are Rubi-Rose, Payton-Jane and Porscha-Mae Hopkins (all UK) who were born to Michaela White and Jason Hopkins at a gestational age of 22 weeks 5 days (159 days) – making them 121 days premature – at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, UK, on 14 February 2021. The estimated due date had been 15 June 2021.

The standard gestational period for a full-term baby is 40 weeks (280 days).

Rubi-Rose (Triplet 1) was born at 10.33 a.m. and weighed 467 g (1 lb) at birth. Payton-Jane (Triplet 2) was born at 12.01 p.m. weighing 402 g (0.89 oz) and Porscha-Mae was born at 12.02 p.m. weighing 415 g (0.91 oz). Their combined weight was 1,284 g (2 lb 13.3 oz), also making them the lightest triplets.

The triplets remained at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for several months as a result of their early arrival. Rubi-Rose and Payton-Jane were discharged in July 2021 and Porscha-Mae was permitted to return home on 1 October 2021. The triplets celebrated their first birthday on 14 February 2022.

The most premature baby Curtis Zy-Keith Means (USA) – born on 5 July 2020 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in Alabama, USA – was 132 days premature. The most premature twins are Adiah Laelynn and Adrial Luka Nadaraja (both Canada), who were born 126 days early at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada, on 4 March 2022.
