Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest is an annual event held on US Independence Day outside the company's flagship store on Coney Island. The 2021 event was moved to a nearby Little League stadium as a result of COVID-19 restrictions. Joey Chestnut beat his own record this year, after eating 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes. This is one more than he did in the men’s category last year, when he ate 75 hot dogs.
This was Joey "Jaws" Chestnut's 14th win at the competition - also a world record.
