The most consecutive year hits by a baseball pitcher in professional baseball is 24 years and was achieved by Daisuke Miura (Japan) at Yokohama stadium in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan on 11 July 2016. This was tied by Masanori Ishikawa (Japan) at Tokyo Dome in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan on 7 August 2025.

Daisuke Miura was a pitcher for Yokohama DeNA Baystars and performed a batting hit at least once a year consecutively in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) from 1993 to 2016. Masanori Ishikawa is a Japanese pitcher currently playing for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, also in NPB. As of the 2025 season, he holds the distinction of being the oldest active player in the league.
