The fastest 100 m slackline walk is 1 min 59.73 secs and was achieved by Lucas Milliard (France) at an event organized by Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park & Huway.com in Luding, Sichuan on 12 June 2016.
The webbing is made of 50% polyester and 50% polyethylene. The slackline was suspended about 70 meters above the ground between two piers of Hailuogou Valley bridge. Lucas accomplished the challenge on his second attempt.
