Longest supported journey in Antarctica on skis (female)

The longest unmechanized supported journey in Antarctica on skis by a female is 2,045 km (1,270.7 miles) and was achieved by Stéphanie Gicquel (France) who - along with her husband, Jérémie - skied from Messner Start to Hercules Inlet (both on the Ronne Ice Shelf inner coastline) between 14 November 2014 and 27 January 2015. According to the Polar Expeditions Classification Scheme, this type of journey would now be referred to as an "Alternate Return South Pole Expedition".
The start co-ordinates were S 82°19' W 064°51' and the end co-ordinates were S 79°58' W 079°45'.
Stéphanie and Jérémie received resupplies during their journey, hence why this is deemed a supported expedition.
